Balft, Hume and The Black knight
Hume are basically humans. They mostly live in Parul and Slebinia. The main character and L.Adveturer is a Hume. Even hume not the smartest, nor the longest lived, nor are they the most powerful, but they still thrive to survive. Unlike Elves, they are not bounded by song of creation, thus lives a short life.
Humans are resilient, and highly adaptable. Their short life spans force them to innovate and learn quickly, something other races find to be a flaw. Moreover, Humans are capable of both technology (Wizard Cannon, Humanoid Golem, Scientific and Engineering knowledge) to rule over other species such as Goblins, Dragons and Elves. This can be seen in Lyark Technista, modifying living being into demi machina. Another technista faction, is Pax technista, where the citizen become lazy because of automated system.
After post cataclysm, there is alot of hume tribe like Fixion. Fixion people are stray hume, some settle down in town and some go outside live a wild life who cultivate harsh and wild land for themselves.
The Fixion are commonly stubborn and prefer to withdraw from the society, unlike people in town. They will attack whoever enter their land without permission. They refuse to communicate with other people to protect their land. So, they get mad and attack if someone step on their land. This can be see by character Riggy, which attack Pelulu and main character at land of chaos.
According to Zaldo, the fixion are under living under threats of monster, hence no matter how much their hard work they do, they dont make much money. Some of hume in technista faction have knowledge of science and machine. But this knowledge seems accessible to fixion.
There is also minority tribe like Albatif Tribe in Albatif Village. They have their distinctive way of living and didn't communicate with other tribe.
Appearance and abilities:
As the most common sapient species, they are often considered to be a standard or average to which the biology, psychology, and culture of other species and races are compared.
Zaldo Complaining about he cant use magic
Hume aren't capable of magic, (with exception of hero and reincarnated adventurer), where this can be seen in York inability to use magic, compared to his cule and elf peer, and Zaldo explaining her inability to use magic. The special device is needed to translate the magic tomes and convert it to magic automatically. So, even without magic capabilities, York can use magic spell via the device.
However there is exception for hero or reincarnated hume. People become wizard by practice/making spells,brewing potions or via artifact/special item. The barrier is made of goddess gem, a main source of power in Toram , but it also used a spell to perform it. Yarn axplain that a strange plate-like device on the magic boo is capable of casting magic for person who don't have magic aptitude. Some hume like P.avatar or Megiston can cast magic due to their harsh training or certain Artefact that enchance their magic aptitude.

Faction:
Currently, hume is scattered across all faction, some in Straye as blacksmith or Citizen, some lead a free and wild life as fixion and ethnic minority, like Albatif, some lives as hard labor in Resistile. Main hume Faction is from Pax Technista in Einklang where they live in automated city and Lyark Technista, the hume faction that serve as antagonist in main quest.
