Empress Mezalluna the Second, (also called Iron Empress) is the ruler of Slebinia Empire during it expansion period. She is known as ancient empress after the cataclysm. During the pre warring era, the citizen loves her, and describe her as noble, beautiful and brave leader. She cared about the country so much and try to make the Slebinia a great empire and she was brave enough to stand in front of ten thousand of enemy troop which make her citizen respect her to no end.

Everyone in the empire look up on Empire military forces, and expansion is less militaristic compared to her late reign. Mezalluna speak on behalf their Empire God, Oritius, God of war, for oracle and guide. The content of oracle usually is a positive thing or good news for citizen.

Oritus as Protector God of Slebinia Empire

At the end of her rule, she used different forced policies that unfair, heavy tax and come hard down on anyone who dare to voice against empire, as act of treason. Everyone said she already become another person, (hence the title Iron Empress). This become when Sianas start become her tactician. The country slowly based on political of fear, under constant observation of machine and live everyday in state of sheer terror. Since General Delma step down, the machine or golem make appearance in war.

Everyone in the empire used to look up on Empire military forces, but then, not only they have foreign troop, but also bunch of horrible machine. People who caught by treason are punishable by death or thrown into Algaotte, a place where anarchist and foreign spy is imprisoned (slebinia version of Gulag or concentration camp). Even merchant coming from Parul that suspect being spy being send to Algaotte.

​​Sianas manipulated Mezzaluna, the Empress of Slebinia, into thinking she can help her become a god. Mezzaluna believed her cause she was 'child of god' and knowing it's for her city, her people, Mezzaluna unknowingly did evil deeds for her. By the suggestion and help of Sianas, she made a Humenizer, a device to turn all other race to hume to quell with rebellion and make Slebinia racially homogeneous. Mezzaluna thought this will unite people and ends internal interracial conflict but, this cause many rebel and partisan group to raise and unite against empire.

The Empress only listen to her tactician, and even ignore the councilor board for the danger of the experiment and how it may crack and divide the empire into state of chaos. But due to empress absolute power, the experiment is still carried out and councilor will head and observe the experiment. Humenizer is constructed in deep secrecy and even the location is only known to high rank councilor like Baltas. Baltas deepl regret his action in assisting the construction of the device, hence telling the partisan its whereabouts.

The empress ordered the thunder dragon to be captured for her Imperial Factory power supply. This can be seen as the thunder dragon, Blitz being put into special room to suck out its electrical energy. The wanderer see there is lot of electrode stuck on the dragon body, indicating direct energy harvesting method. The imperial factory manufacturing the golem and autonomous robot to patrol Imperial city street and guard the border. 

At end of her rule, she release all autonomous robot on rampage and release it into city. Fire are springing out everywhere and city fall into ruin. The citizen said she has gone nuts. She proclaim she was going to become Slebinia Goddess the days earlier, but citizen know its bad omen. Citizen said that she standing in front of palace and conjuring fire from her hand, like devil. Delma, the ex general, feels something off, goes to see her empress face to face. When asked, Mezzaluna said its for the good of the citizen, and always strive to answer the peoples need. She also ask Delma why treat her so coldly and refuse to revere her as Goddess, new Protector of Empire.

 

Delma try to reason with empress, that people mistake Sianas tyrannical policies as her Majesty, as for that reason people rebel and form partisan. Sianas play on her misery for being disliked to further influence her with the evil plan. Hence, Dlema said to explain to the people the wrong things they have do and heal the broken empire. But Mezzaluna refuse, state that she never make mistake and such lies is a high treason. She also said she no longer hume, but a real Goddess, after receiving "Divine Energy" from Sianas Divine furnace.

She also argue that people no longer hold her in higher regard because of it, but carry on fulfilling their own selfish needs. She explain further, the magical weapon and the humenizer is her effort to bring peace to Iruna and failed because Delma didnt support it. She added more that despite being despised by her own people, she still do good things that benefit the citizen and Sianas made sure she knew the truth. She prepared to restart all over, due to Delma and Partisan confrontation with her, even she need to destroy the city and its people which the new Slebinia, with sianas as her side, as she thought, will be born. 

Mezzaluna dying moment

Delma and the partisan engage the empress and defeated her. She ask sianas for more Divine energy, but sianas said, she no longer needed, and taking her place as the head of the Empire. At her dying moment, she said to Delma that she treat her citizen as her children. She always fought for Sleinia and If her people happy, thats all her care. She said the the reason she wanna become Sleinia goddess is she now she cant live forever, and worried what may happen to Slebinia after her death. As Sleinia Goddess, she could protect the Slebinia's peace and prosperity forever. She regret she took sianas as tactician, and turn a blind eye to his unreasonable policies and his cruel plots. Even though it cause people to alienating her, even her General Delma, who once swore allegiance to her. All her did is to become god and protect her country. She then apoligies to Delma, for everything, from ignoring the elder council and give out cruel order to Slebinia citizen, before she die.

Mezzaluna then said that all Slebinia wicked plan, we all designs by herself and Sianas. She add that the people are innocent. The army only following their order. She hopes that other nation may find way of forgiving them and find way to stop Sianas. Then, she passed away.

In post cataclysm, the empress blessing is needed to enter resistile land. She argue that why they need her blessing to enter elves land, but upon hearing request from Delma, the descendant of general who serve her long time, she accept but need to defeat her first. The purpose of the blessing is to see if the main character is virtuous enough or not. After giving the blessing, she congratulate the main character and she said she been trapped there for a log time since cataclysm, so she lost sense of time.
